About
My practice is rooted in drawing: its materials, tools, methods, subjects and history. My work is underpinned by the practice of drawing from life and the body. I work in a range of media, most recently exploring the human silhouette by using scissors as a drawing tool to create paper cut-out figures from life, and exploring art historical poses and themes through the 19th century technique of cyanotype printing. Other bodies of work have involved drawing onto envelopes, using lipstick as a printing ink, and fake eyelashes as mark making tools.
I live and work in London.
